HOPE: OIC International Supports Those Affected by HIV and AIDS in Ghana
OIC International brings its signature self-help philosophy to the difficult problems facing people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) and Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Ghana by helping these groups achieve the economic self-sufficiency necessary to apply knowledge about prevention of the disease and provide care and treatment for those infected.
The HOPE Program provides care and support and enhances economic opportunities for PLHIV, OVC, and caregivers and support organizations in the Ashanti, Eastern, Greater Accra and Western regions of Ghana and is supported by a grant from USAID's Food for Peace Program.

Nigeria OIC Marks 40 Years Of Skills Development
Nigeria OIC, OIC International's first affiliate, will mark the start of its fourth decade of service to Africa's most populous country when it hosts a visit by three of OIC International's board leaders. Coincident with preparation for Nigeria OIC's 40th anniversary activities, OIC International Board Chair Edmund D. Cooke, Jr., Vice Chair James Talton,and Program Chair Emmanuel Irono will travel to Nigeria next month and meet with Nigeria OIC leadership, including Board Vice Chair Bishop Magnus Adeyemi Atilade.
