NATIONAL NGO PARTNERSHIPS
COTE D'VOIRE
OIC Cote d'Ivoire
OICI's local affiliate in Cote d'Ivoire, OIC Cote d'Ivoire, is currently assisting in implementing the microenterprise component of OICI's Food for Progress Initiative.
 
ETHIOPIA
OIC Ethiopia
OICI's local affiliate in Ethiopia, OIC Ethiopia, is currently providing skills development services to OICI's Mitigating Conflict and Adolescent Reproductive Health projects in Ethiopia.
 
The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce
OICI works with the Chamber of Commerce in its Mitigating Conflict program to help establish possible employment and apprenticeship linkages between its students and local businesses.
 
The Addis Ababa Credit and Savings Institution
OICI's Mitigating Conflict program in Ethiopia is working with this institution to help graduates of the skills training component of the program access the necessary credit should they want to start their own small businesses.
 
GHANA
Farmers Supportive Services and Community Utilities (FASCU)
FASCU aims to improve the quality of life of poor rural farmers through training in agricultural production, processing, marketing and entrepreneur activities and development.  FASCU hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers who provide training to the groups beneficiaries.
 
Foster Homes / Orphanages
OICI's Ghana HOPE program is currently working with local orphanages and foster homes in Ghana in order to assist them in providing proper support and nutritious meals to youth orphaned by HIV/AIDS.  The orphanages and foster homes that OICI is currently working with include: Orphanage Africa; Addullam Orphanage; Historic Adventist Foster Home; The New Covenant Center for Human and Community Development; Africa Hope Foundation; Orphan Cry International; Jomelos Save Life Foundation.
 
Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine Practioners Association
OICI's Ghana HOPE Program is working with this association to ensure they have the proper materials and capacity to offer effective HIV/AIDS education and support to their members.
 
Global Bamboo Products, Ltd.
Global Bamboo Products of Eastern Ghana  promotes the use of non-traditional agriculture and natural products in order to reduce the pressure on timber resources in the country.  The company currently hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers to provide training in natural resource management, establishing agricultural enterprises, and marketing agricultural products. 
 
Gomoa Dominase Coop Farming & Marketing Ltd.
The members of this group are made up mostly of vegetable and fruit farmers in the small town of Gomoa Dominase who export their produce.  The group hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers who provide training in post-harvest processing and market access.
 
Mushroom Producers Association
The group engages in the production, training and sales of edible mushrooms and sustainable compost bags.  The group hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers so that they can assist in product development strategies for product design and usage.
 
Northern Regional Traditional Healers & Medicinal Plant Growers' Association
This association is made up of spiritual healers, herbalists, and traditional birth attendants.  The group seeks to improve the mode of practice of traditional medicine by the adoption of codes of conduct and practice.  The group hosts FarmServe volunteers who provide assistance in agricultural marketing.
 
OIC Ghana
OICI's local affiliate, OIC Ghana, is currently providing skills development and counselling services to youth orphaned by HIV/AIDS as part of OICI's Ghana HOPE program.
 
People Living with HIV/AIDS Associations
OICI is currently working with a number of local People Living with HIV/AIDS Associations as part of its Ghana HOPE program.  The aim is to strengthen the capacity of these associations to offer quality support programs to their members.  The groups that OICI is currently working with include: Goodwill Aid Association; West African AIDS Foundation; Venue for Care and Development; Center of Hope; AIDS Relief Projects; Care and Love Association; Ultimate Life Foundation; Center for Community and Rural Development; Hope-Care Foundation; Victory Generation; AIDS Allies Support Group; Youth Association for Prevention of Blindness and Diseases; Onyamie Ne Borofo.
 
GUINEA
Fouta Farmer Federation
This federation is well known in the international NGO community because of their strong capacity of organizing farmers in the Middle Guinea and providing them with improved seeds, fertilizers and technical assistance.  The federation hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers who provide technical assistance to their wide range of farmer initiatives.
 
MALI
Malian Association for the Conservation of the Fauna and the Environment (AMCFE)
The AMCFE works to promote the sustainable management of renewable natural resources through mobilization, sensitization and education.  The association hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers who provides training to beneficiaries in natural resource management. 
 
OIC Mali
OICI's local affiliate in Mali works to increase women's income through market gardening operations and to develop gardening activities and eudcation services.  OIC Mali hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers who provide training to women beneficiaries in how to effective start, manage and market their small farming enterprises.
 
NIGERIA
Betem Mushroom Growers Cooperative Association
This cooperative works extensively with its members to enhance their capability to increase their mushroom production and marketing capacity.  The cooperative hosts OICI FarmServe volunteers with expertise in mushroom production and cultivation.
 
Community Participation for Action in the Social Sector (COMPASS)
COMPASS aims to create an environment in which all Nigerians are involved in learning, planning and improving health and education in their communities.  OICI is helping to provide COMPASS's project beneficaries, particularly those who have been affected by polio, with entrepreneurship, life skills and vocational training.
 
Independent Builder Beneficiaries (IBB)
IBB is a local community-building organization in Kano that works to economically empower women.  OICI's Nigeria JOBS program has provided entrepreneurial and vocational skills training to over 2,000 women from the IBB.
 
Gawo Women Empowerment Association
The Gawo Women Empowerment Association is an organization that works to promote gender-equality through poverty alleviation, skills acquistion and income generation activities.  OICI's Nigeria JOBS program has provided entrepreneurial and vocational skills training to over 100 women from the Gawo Association.
 
Gidauniyar Alheri
This national NGO provides human resource development training to youth in Nigeria, and particularly in Kano State.  OICI has trained some of their staff in microenterprise development, and they now assist in providing microenterprise training to OICI's Nigeria JOBS beneficiaries.
 
Global HIV/AIDS Initiative Nigeria
This five-year project aims to rapidly strengthen and expaind HIV/AIDS services in Nigeria.  OICI's Nigeria JOBS program will provide this organization's beneficiaries with microenterprise assistance, life skills and vocational skills training.
 
Society for Family Health (SFH)
SFH is the local affiliate of Population Services Interantional.  OICI is collaborating with SFH in order to provide road transport workers, out-of-school youths and female sex workers with microenterprise, life skills and vocational skills training.
 
Women Development Initiative (WDI)
WDI provides microcredit support to women and youth interested in establishing small-scale businesses in Kano State.  WDI provides loans to microenterprise graduates as part of OICI's Nigeria JOBS program
