USAID Recognizes OICI's Accomplishments in GuineaAugust 20, 2006
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has published an article commending OICI on the positive impacts its programs are having in Guinea. OICI currently works in the rural districts of Pita and Telimele, the two poorest regions of Guinea. USAID notes that OICI's programs have had a direct role in saving children's lives, training women how to add value and earn additional income from their farm produce, thereby ensuring healthier households, and helping farmers to organize effectively so that they can benefit from enhanced training.
