PROGRAM DONORS

United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
USAID has been a dedicated contributor to OICI's programs for over 30 years.  OICI's continued close relationship with USAID reflects its consistent program success. Currently, USAID is helping to fund programs in Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Mali and Nigeria.

United States Agriculture Department (USDA)
USDA is currently donating 18,000 metric tons of American-grown brown rice to OICI's Food for Progress initiative in Cote d'Ivoire. OICI sells the rice at market rate and uses the proceeds to finance the food security initiative.

United States Department of Labor (DOL)
The DOL is currently providing funding to OICI's innovative Building Global Bridges program, which helps prepare students in the United States for careers in international development.

David and Lucille Packard Foundation
Consistent with the foundation's focus on providing funding to programs that provide family planning services, the foundation is currently funding the Adolescent Reproductive Health Education program in Ethiopia, which is providing critical health education to Ethiopian youth, and is providing family planning services to women.
